Before I ordered this battery, I had already opened up the case and removed the existing battery testing it to be certain that it was the problem with my light not working. Upon recieving my order, I simply stripped the cut wires of the old battery, used wire nuts to connect the wires from the new one. After reassembling the light , I reprogramed it and it works perfectly.....

It has been a great light on our pier for years Til the battery quit being able to charge. The one thing that kept me changing out the battery was cowbirds landed on it and caused the light to break clean at the plastic mounting bracket on the light it’s self, just needs some strength built into its weakest area but I will buy another one and increase it structural strength.

I love my solar night lights and after 3 plus years one started going out and I opened it to see what kind of batteries were in it then Googled where to get them.
